Happy New Year, lovelies, and welcome to 2026.

This post was originally meant to go up last year. It didn’t. And instead of pretending that didn’t happen, I want to start here: the delay itself taught me more than the plan ever could.
The past year forced me to confront something I’d been skirting around for a long time — my ADHD wasn’t just “a challenge,” it was actively shaping how I set goals, how I burned out, and how things kept falling through despite genuine effort. A lot of my setbacks weren’t because I didn’t care or wasn’t trying hard enough. They were the result of mismanaging my energy, my attention, and my expectations.
So 2026 isn’t about grinding harder. It’s about working with my brain instead of constantly fighting it.
My core intention going forward is the same at heart, but wiser in execution: sustainable habits, realistic structure, and balance between creativity and personal life. Structure is no longer a cage I’m trying to force myself into — it’s a support system I’m learning to build intentionally.

SETTING THE FOUNDATION: My Daily Schedule
One of the biggest changes I'm implementing is having a consistent daily routine. Since I have ADHD, this is going to be a challenge to keep, but if I use a Pomodoro-style time structure (my phone alarms are about to be crazy), I feel like I can maximize my productivity and creativity.
Morning Routine (5:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
5:00 AM: Wake up
5:15 AM: Morning routine
6:00 AM: Skincare and hygiene routine
7:00 AM: Household tasks and organization
Creative Block (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Art practice and development
Work on art store designs
Vocal training sessions
Content Creation (2:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Streaming sessions
Community engagement
Content planning and preparation
Wind Down (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Personal time and hobbies
Evening routine
9:00 PM: Bedtime
I've got a board on Notion to help me keep organized...Fingers crossed

My Creative Goals for 2025
With this schedule, I'm focusing on the following key areas
1. Art Development - While earlier years were noticeably sparse, 2025 marked a real turning point for me creatively. I completed far more finished pieces than I had in a long time, many of them as gift art that never made it online. Even though they aren’t all visible, the consistency and follow-through matter to me, and I’m genuinely proud of that progress. Moving forward, I want to protect dedicated, quiet hours to continue building my skills through daily sketch warm-ups, experimenting with new techniques and mediums, and steadily developing manga projects and merchandise for my future art store.
2. Streaming Journey - As a fairly shy person, streaming and social media, in general, is oddly hard for me, so for a long time I've been struggling in this area. With this schedule being more consistent and focusing on things that I'm comfortable doing, like having art sessions, playing some of my favorite games, and having some casual chats, I feel like this makes things easier for me to enjoy streaming more.
3. Personal Growth - Beyond my creative pursuits, I have a few other goals in mind. These include learning to sing, creating a more active lifestyle, stepping out of my shell, and meeting more people.
Bringing It Altogether
In order to manage all my goals with the most efficiency, I'm using the Pomodoro Technique, which should work well with my ADHD. I'm making tasks down to long 25-minute segments, followed by short 5-minute breaks, and then after 4 cycles take a 15 - 30 minute break. This method should help maintain focus while preventing burnout.
Cheers to a Productive 2025! 🥳🥂
I'm sharing this approach because I want to document my process and be able to look back and properly assess what I can do better. As a plus, there can be accountability and community support too! I'd love to hear about your goals and routines for 2025 and maybe we can even encourage eachother along the way!
Here's to a year of creativity, growth, and achieving our dreams!
